One Day Sale at Big Finish on Jubilee and Ish

Big Finish has two of the three audios I'm covering in the Colin Baker era (...Ish and Jubilee) on sale today and today only for just five pounds each. Those interested in listening to them along with the blog might want to grab them. Right now ...Ish is set to be covered on June 4th and Jubilee for June 15th.

They also have Spare Parts, previously discussed on this blog, on sale.

  1. Much obliged for the heads up! Will most definitely be getting ahold of them now.

  2. Are there any other audios on sale that people would recommend?

  3. I quite enjoyed "The Church and the Crown." "Neverland" has a good share of fans, too, although it's the culmination of a two year story arc across the eighth Doctor audios, so you may be a bit lost. Just avoid "Time of the Daleks" and "Bang-Bang-A-Boom!" unless you're a completionist. And avoid "The Rapture" and "The Sandman" even if you are a completionist....

  4. Pretty much agree with Sean. "Flip-Flop" is pretty clever and well-done though, so I'll add that to the pile.

  5. Missed this yesterday; now we're on the day for releases 41-50. I'd recommend Davros to anyone - it's in my top three BF audios - but avoid Zagreus at all costs. Doctor Who and the Pirates is a wacky part-operetta tragicomedy that I think is great, but it divides opinion (as does Creatures of Beauty, though that's one I'm less keen on). Like WGPJosh I'd also suggest Flip-Flop, but some people think it doesn't bear repeat listening (I'm not one of those). The rest are lower down the list for me (Omega comes next). Check out The Time Scales for a broader range of opinions.
